Hello K-6th Grade Teachers!

Take just a minute to answer these questions: Do you love to teach but hate to plan for a substitute teacher? _____ Did you ever go to school sick because you couldn't face writing the last-minute lesson plans for a substitute teacher? _____ Do you sometimes dread going back to your classroom after you've been gone for a day or more, for fear of what your classroom will look like?_____ Or for fear of what the sub teacher wrote about your kids?? _____ If you answered "YES" to one or more of these questions, YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT BLOG! I've taught for more than 28 years and spent too many late nights writing for a sub, asking myself over and again: why doesn't this get easier? My quest in retirement is to provide this "subplanners" resource for teachers. There's a blog; free downloads to come; and a store of 25 (and counting) full day emergency sub lesson plans available at www.teacherspayteachers.com. Hang in there! I'd like to help make a difference in your teaching year.
