Thoughts on One-Size-Fits-All Curricula
I believe the best teachers aren't the ones who know how to follow each step in the curriculum, but the ones who look at how each kid responds to the curriculum. Let's just hope the pendulum will soon swing back to the days when the individual learning needs of a student came first!

Can I hear an amen?! I hate how my district gives a scripted program that they wrote and hold us to every word, and then call it a "curriculum". Even worse if we stick to the program and it doesn't get results it rates on our performance review so you have to sneak around to teach your kids. I can't wait for this pendulum to swing back!
